Since his Introduction in 1940, Robin has been a staple in DC comics. Nicknamed the "Boy Wonder", he is commonly associated with the superhero Batman as his sidekick.
Robin was introduced in order to garner more attention for younger readers, as well as assist in connecting younger readers to Batman. Batman was already a character with a more darker personality, so DC Comics were wanting something that can counter Batmnan's overall mystique. With Robin now on the seen, there was now opportunities for further dialect with Batman and allows reader to understand the Batman

Stephanie Brown
Stephanie Brown was originally "Spoiler", an amateur teen crime fighter. She took up the mantle of Robin after Tim Drake was forced to hang his cape when it was revealed to his father that Tim was Robin. She forced Batman to train her and accept her as Robin however, she diobeyed Batman on a couple of occassions. This in turn led her to her death when she tried to execute a plan of Batman's on her own. Since then, Tim returned as Robin and Stephanie, now resurrected, is now Batgirl.
Carrie Kelley
Carrie Kelly is a 13-year old girl who becomes Robin after saving Batman's life in the non-canonical story arc The Dark Knight Returns. Taking place in a dystopian society, Bruce is 55 years old who returns to the mantle of Batman, after being retired for 10 years following Jason Todd's death. Unlike other versions of Robin, she is no orphan and is not as athletic however, she is very resourceful and is able to come up with gadgets of her own that can compliment her strengths and weakenesses.Interesting Facts
